Declaration on accessibility

We endeavour to make our website accessible in accordance with the Accessibility Act as amended to implement the European Accessibility Directive (EU) RL 2019/882 on the accessibility requirements for products and services. This accessibility statement applies to www.dorfblick-ischgl.at

Note: This accessibility statement relates exclusively to our website. It makes no statement about the structural accessibility of our premises.

Status of compatibility with the requirements

This website is partially compatible with conformity level AA of the ‘Guidelines for accessible web content - WCAG 2.2’ or with the applicable European standard EN 301 549 due to the following incompatibilities and/or exceptions.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is not yet accessible for the following reasons:

1.1.1 - This success criterion is currently not fully met, as the website contains a large number of images that still lack alternative descriptions. We are constantly working on adding these captions.
1.3.1 - Some visually highlighted text areas are not programmatically labelled as headings. The heading structure is being optimised step by step.
1.3.2 - Certain content is not displayed in the logical order, which can lead to problems with assistive technologies.
1.3.3 - Individual links or buttons are only differentiated by colour, which means that the success criterion is not met.
1.3.4 - The page requires horizontal scrolling from certain screen sizes, which does not meet the requirements.
1.3.5 - Some form fields - especially in the contact form - do not contain ‘autocomplete’ attributes and therefore do not fulfil the criterion.
1.4.1 - Links, for example in continuous text or navigation, are sometimes only highlighted in colour. This does not fulfil the success criterion.
1.4.3 - Some texts and graphic elements do not meet the required contrast ratios. Optimisation is planned.
1.4.11 - Some visual focus markers do not have the required contrast to the background.
1.4.13 - Some navigation content only appears on hover, but is not accessible via keyboard.
2.1.1 - The main navigation blocks the focus when using the keyboard. Other elements such as buttons or accordions cannot always be operated using the keyboard.
2.4.1 - Ski links for skipping recurring content are not available.
2.4.4 - Some links and buttons are not sufficiently described and therefore not clearly identifiable for screen readers.
2.4.5 - Page content can usually only be accessed in one way.
2.4.11 - The focus disappears when menus or control elements such as accordions are not open.
2.5.3 - Some control elements lack visible labelling, which is reflected in the accessible name.
2.5.8 - Some buttons or clickable elements are smaller than the recommended minimum size of 24 x 24 pixels.
3.3.1 - Incorrect inputs are not clearly recognised or described as such.
3.3.2 - Form elements are not consistently labelled or explained.
3.3.3 - No specific instructions are given for correcting errors.
3.3.4 - Important data entries cannot be checked or cancelled before sending.
3.3.7 - Users sometimes have to enter the same information multiple times.
3.3.8 - Forms contain CAPTCHA queries that are not accessible.
4.1.2 - Not all buttons or interactive elements communicate their status (e.g. expanded or selected) correctly programmatically.
4.1.3 - Changes such as progress indicators or errors are not automatically communicated to assistive technologies.

b) Unreasonable burden

We are of the opinion that the rectification would represent a disproportionate burden in terms of accessibility regulations.

c) The content does not fall within the scope of the applicable legislation

There are older documents and content available on the website that are not accessible. As these were published before 28 June 2025, they are exempt from the Accessibility Act and no comprehensive change is currently planned for them.

The website contains documents and content from third-party providers that are neither developed, financed nor controlled by us. No statement can be made regarding the compatibility of this third-party content with the accessibility provisions and it is therefore also exempt from the requirements of the Accessibility Act.

Preparation of the accessibility statement

This declaration was created on 15.07.25.
The assessment of the website's compliance with the Accessibility Act was carried out in the form of a self-test in accordance with the level AA guidelines of WCAG 2.2.
